Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

Ho-hum. Yes. Well.
I have to concede that I thought it was… alright.
<lj-cut text=""Cut for Spoilers"">
Space battle: pretty awesome. Lightsabre fights: not bad.
Characterisation: bleh. Dialogue: dire.
Thinly disguised political message: far too obvious.
Extremely short scenes: Try to give a sense of increasing pace, but fail.
Midwife robot: Holy haddock that's scary.
Jar-Jar didn't die. But on the plus side, at least he didn't speak.
Single amusing scene:
<i>""If you're not with me, you're my enemy.""
""Only a Sith Lord deals in absolutes. I will do what I must.""
– Anakin and Obi-Wan, Star Wars Ep. 3
""If you're not with us, you're against us.""
– George W Bush, Knoxville, Tennessee, 8th April 2002</i></lj-cut>
